In the early 20th century, a group of French composers came together, known as “Le Six” or “The Group of Six”, who wanted to free themselves from the traditional musical style of the time. Their aim was to create music that was fresh, witty and playful, reflecting the cultural climate of Paris in the 1920s. In the unique combination of saxophone quartet and percussion, we trace the Parisian charm with skilful arrangements, an atmospheric light installation and a Charlie Chaplin silent film.
